This page is dedicated to the implementation of the Multicast Listener Discovery version 2 protocol. This work was done jointly at LIP6 - Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris and Euronetlab, who developed the MLDv2 Host Implementation, and LSIIT - Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, who developed the MLDv2 enabled PIM-SSM Router Implementation.
The development was done on FreeBSD 4.3, using the integrated KAME code for IPv6.
Note that the MLDv2 protocol definition is currently an Internet Draft. This means that specifications are not finalised yet, and may change in the future.
